Yamato Museum is a museum of Battleship Yamato, the largest and most powerful fleet during World War II.  It was build in Kure, and it left for war from Kure Port.

It is located right behind Kure Station; it is in a walking distance (about 15 minutes) from our hotel.  This is a very interesting museum to visit to lean the War and Kure's history and role during the war time.

Miyajima & Itsukushima Shrine
One of the most famous tourist attractions in Hiroshima City is Miyajima & Itsukushima Shrine.  Miyajima is an island off the Hiroshima, located at the west coast of Hiroshima, around 40 minutes by train from Hiroshima Station.

It is recognized as the World Heritage and is also considered to be one of "the three most beautiful views in Japan", along with Matsushima and Amano Hashidate.
